In 1881 he came to Henry county and bought one hundred and thirty acres of land, which he has developed into one of the best farms in this section of the county. He recently erected a fine barn and is now erecting what will be when completed a splendid residence. Besides carrying on general farming, he gives some attention to the raising of Hereford cattle and Percheron horses, meeting with gratifying success in all his lines of effort.
