Benskin. -- On Jan. 7, 1883, Lena Benskin, daughter of Charles and Lucie 4 years.

The death of our daughter resulted from a severe burn, which she received on the Tuesday previous to her death, her mother, being absent from the house at the time. The child was the eldest In the house and was playing about the stove when her clothes caught on fire and completely burned from her body by the time her mother returned. There were two younger children in the house at the same time but were fortunate enough to escape. The floor was burned but as to just how the accident happened no one knows. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community.
