?DECKO On the 30th of May, 1890, in Harrison township, Henry County, Ohio, Oscar G., ?Infant son of C. and C. Decko, aged 8 months and 4 days. How sweet it is to know that to die young is to enter through the portals of Heaven without a scar to mar the perfect beauty of the spirit. Happy Voyager: no sooner launched than arrived at port. Happy soldier: crowned with victory before the sword is drawn. Happy probationer: accepted before trial. Above the grave of Oscar the Angels of comfort plant such flowers as we had not known.

There is no flock how so e'er watched but one dead lamb is there.
There is no household how so defended but has one vacant chair.

Teach us to kneel and kiss the rod
And holler grow with grief.
