FATAL ACCIDENT - On Tuesday, LEVI FELLERS, of this place, who has been working in a stave factory at Holgate for some time past, while changing a belt with a large hand-spike, was injured so as to cause his death. The spike caught in a wheel and was thrown with such force, hitting Mr. FELLERS that it passed clean through his side, inflicting a mortal wound. He died in less than half an hour after the accident. Mr. FELLERS was about [blank] years of age, and has always been honest, hard working man, and many friends deplore his untimely death. He leaves a family of seven small children.
