GEHRETT Rolandus R., the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Gehrett, was born Nov. 27th, 1890, and died March 18th, 1891, aged 8 months and 19 days. Short was his stay with us; he was given as a beautiful flower to cheer the home with his presence then the Saviour called him home and away from the toils and sorrows of this life to live with the angels in heaven.

Sleep, little baby, sleep,
Not in thy cradle bed,
Not on thy mother's breast,
Henceforth shall be thy rest,
But with the quiet dead.

Tis hard to lay our darling
Deep in the damp, cold earth
His empty crib to see,
His silent nursery
Once gladsome with his mirth.
