Death of an Old Pioneer. On last week Thursday, after a long illness, Mr. Joseph Stockford, of Ridgeville township, breathed his last. Mr. Stockford was an old resident of this county, having come into the county some thirty-five years ago, and was a prominent citizen of his township, and in his day one of the leading Democrats of the north-west part of the county. His funeral took place on Saturday from the M. E. Church at Ridgeville. He leaves a wife, three daughters and two sons to mourn their loss. The bereaved family have the sympathies of a large circle of friends.
