Weaver - Eliza Jane Pentz was born in Columbiana county, Ohio, May 22nd, 1868. She was united in marriage with W. W. Weaver, Sept. 7th, 1876. She departed this life March 28th, 1889, aged 80 years, 10 months and 6 days. She leaves behind her a husband and four children, who in truth must mourn the loss of a wife's and mother's presence, care, counsel and love. Relatives and friends would join them in their grief, not only through sympathy, but because all feel the loss of one so useful and comparatively so young. Death, always relentless, has thus beset another home; another voice is stilled, another chair is vacant, another family circle is broken. The "silvery cord is loosed" and mortal life has yielded to life eternal. The cradle and the grave seem almost to touch one another. The marriage chimes scarce die away till the funeral toll begins. Sad would be the tale of mortal life had not Christ showed us its intent and meaning by pointing us to himself, saying: "I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."
