WEVOR -- One more has passed over the river. Brother Henry Wevor, of Bartlow township, this county, departed this life on May 2nd. He was a son of Lucy and James Wevor, aged 29 years, 1 month and 4 days. He was a member of the Church of God, or the First Born, was a devoted Christian, and gave good evidence of enjoying future happiness. He was wholly resigned to God, bore his sickness with patience and great faith in God, and at different times expressed his willingness to leave this world if the Master so willed it. the funeral services were conducted according the rites of the church. Subject -- II Corinthians, 5:1, in connection with Revelation, 14:xiii. The funeral was largely attended. After the services, the remains were followed to the cemetery by a vast concourse of relatives and friends. The bereaved family has the sympathy of all. We cannot help speaking of the kindness of neighbors during the time of the deceased's sickness. They showed respect, charity, kindness and love for their fellow man.
