Mr. Hutter died at the Soldiers Home. He was 76 years old and had submitted to two or three amputations of a limb in hopes of prolonging his life. Cause of death was gangrene of the leg. He was a veteran of the Civil War serving with Company F, 101 Ohio Volunteer Infantry.
