Doctor R. R. Parcher
Wednesday morning about 4 o'clock in his residence on the Clinton Street, Dr. R. R. Parcher died from a kidney disease. In August 1904 he established [a practice] here as a homeopathic physician and was well on the way to a large practice, when just a few months ago he was stricken with severe nephrorrhagia. In hospital in Chicago, where he had rushed, an operation was decided against, since there was no expectation of a cure. If Doctor Parcher had lived to the 22nd of September, he would have been 30 years old. He leaves behind a widow with no children. Under the auspices of the odd Fellows, a short service will take place this noon in the former residence, with Pastor C. A. Smucker officiating, and then the remains will be sent on the B&O Railroad to Port Jefferson, Ohio for burial.
