Yesterday afternoon at four o'clock Hermann C. C. Kopp and Miss Rosa Amelia Wandt made their vows before the altar in the St. John's Lutheran Church here and in the presence of both sides' families and close friends promised each other love and faithfulness until death. The union of the two loving hearts was blessed by Pastor F. A. Kiess, and in the evening in the home of the parents of the bride, Mr. & Mrs. August Wandt, in Highland Township , took place an elegant celebration of reception, which gave the friends of the newlyweds the opportunity to offer their best wishes. There also was no lack of material evidence of goodwill.
We join with the other friends in the hearty wishes, that this felicitous young couple may be given on their life's path a full, pressed-down, shaken, and overflowing amount of happiness and blessings.

Willie Thieroff and Goldie Hanley
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Thieroff, the latter a son of Mr. Michael Thieroff residing here, on last Friday on their wedding trip were visiting with relatives on the South Ridge and in North Richland. On the previous Wednesday evening they were married in Upland, Indiana, where the young wife had her home. Mrs. Willie Thieroff, whose maiden name was Goldie Hanley, makes a very good impression, on all with whom she comes in contact, and we all know that she will have an exemplary husband in Willie. May the married life of the young pair prove to be right happy. They will make their home in Anoka, Minnesota, where Mr. Thieroff already for a while has occupied a responsible position as manager with the telephone company.
