Here on Christmas Day of the same year she was married by the late Pastor Adam Detzer to Johann Martin, who preceded her in death in April 1872. Also a few years ago her second eldest son Andreas preceded her into Eternity. From the founding of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutherah congregation until her departure, Mrs. Martin was a faithful member of the same.

Martin in Defiance and Heinrich Martin in Los Angeles, Cal., and three grandchildren. The burial will take place Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock under the direction of Pastor L. H.
