In Toledo, Monday morning about 8 o'clock Louis Friedrich Englert, second youngest son of the widow Sophia Englert, died of nervous fever. He was born here in Defiance on the 2nd of May 1891 and about five years ago moved with his parents and siblings to Toledo. There shortly thereafter died the family head, and Louis had just reached the age, where he would and could support his widowed mother, when implacable Death pulled him away. In truth a hard stroke for the mother.
Yesterday morning, local friends received the further Job's news (bad news) that Mrs. Englert's eldest son August on that same morning about 6 o'clock had also died of nervous fever. The youth had celebrated his 18th birthday in the month of September. Both remains will be buried Thursday afternoon in Toledo.
To the mother bowed-down with sorrow, who now has only the youngest son Georg remaining, we give herewith our most sincere sympathy
