John W. Crum was born at Pandora, Ohio, in 1849 and died at his home in Liberty Center August 5, 1906, aged 56 years, 11 months and 9 days. He had resided in Liberty Center since he was 16 years old. He was married to Ida May Gruber June 4, 1871, by Rev. B. C. Love. Two sons and one daughter were born to this union, the daughter dying in infancy. He has been an invalid for 5 years, being confined to his home most of that time.
