Marie Esther Eddy, 86, Lakeside, Ariz., former Liberty Center resident, died Thursday, Oct. 20 in the Pueblo Nort Nursing Home at ShoLow, Ariz.

Born in Toledo on June 9, 1902, she was the daughter of John and Della Thiesen. On June 28, 1922, she married Elbert Eddy, and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1976.

A former member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, Eddy was a member and past matron of the Napoleon O.E.S. Chapter 232.

Surviving are a son, Cletus “Mac” of Lakeside, Ohio; two sisters, Cele Keller and Gretchen Schwann, both of Toledo; two grandchildren, Carol Heidt of ShoLow, Ariz., and Robert Eddy of Houston; and a great-granddaughter, Sheri Follansbee of ShoLow.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers and four sisters.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, in conjunction with an Eastern Star memorial service, Rev. William Goff officiating. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
