Obituary: Doris Miller Sept. 18, 1909 - Jan. 3, 1994 Doris Miller, 84, of Woodville died Monday at Otterbein Portage Valley Home in Pemberville. Born Sept. 18, 1909, in Neapolis, she was the daughter of John and Hilda (Perry) Swick. She married Rogers Miller on Feb. 24, 1936, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 1981. She was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church and the Napoleon O.E.S. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Cook of Woodville; two sons, James of Sylvania and Lee of Findlay; a sister, Ethel Obee of Amarillo, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were a brother, Lawrence Swick; and a grandson, Bryan Spiess. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Liberty Center, Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Cemetery in Liberty Center. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Otterbein Portage Valley Home.
