The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Romanzo Steambarge, 73-year-old resident of Liberty Center, was solved after a three-day search, when his body was recovered from the Maumee River. Mr. Steambarge, since the death of his wife some months previously, had been despondent and discouraged. A fish bag weighted with a large stone was attached to the body with a wire fastened around the wrist.
